Job Summary
We are hiring an Account Manager to lead event operations, staffing, and team leadership for large-scale venues and events in the Toledo area.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in event management, guest services, operations management, or team leadership who are looking to grow into a high-impact leadership position.
You will oversee recruiting, scheduling, staff management, and client relationships, ensuring safe, organized, and well-executed events.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations, event staffing, and workforce coordination
  • Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of event staff
  • Create and manage employee schedules, staffing plans, and coverage
  • Supervise and develop team members, providing coaching and performance management
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality customer experience
  • Oversee payroll, invoicing, and budget tracking
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards
  • Support event execution, including evenings, weekends, and some travel (up to 25%)

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in operations management, event management, venue operations, stadium or convention experience
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, or workforce management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in event staffing, venue operations, security operations, or guest services is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

Work Environment
This role includes both office and on-site event work. Candidates should be comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments, standing/walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations available.
