The Manager, Events is a key member of the Overtime Events Team responsible for supporting the planning and execution of events across Overtime's league properties, OTE Arena, and partner activations. Reporting to the Director of Events, this role ensures that every experience reflects Overtime's brand identity through seamless execution, exceptional service, and high-impact fan engagement.

What You'll Do:
The Manager, Events supports the planning and execution of Overtime's live experiences from concept through execution. Working cross-functionally across leagues, partnerships, and operations, this role ensures that every event reflects the highest standard of presentation, creativity, and impact. Areas of impact include:
This role will:
  • Lead planning and on-site execution of Overtime events including league games, tournaments, partner activations, and special events
  • Support game day operations including fan engagement, player programs, and guest experience
  • Develop and maintain event documentation including run of shows, manuals, contact lists, and facility setups
  • Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, site scouting, program development, and load-in/load-out
  • Help build scalable processes to improve event production efficiency
  • Support operations across Overtime league properties including basketball and football events
  • Assist with VIP hospitality, courtside seating operations, and premium guest experiences
  • Manage ticket distribution and guest lists for internal stakeholders and partners
  • Coordinate part-time event staff including scheduling and game-day management
  • Support third-party events and venue rentals at OTE Arena from inquiry through execution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful arena events
  • Execute brand integrations and sponsor activations with the partnerships team
  • Help develop experiential opportunities for fans and partners
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and production partners
  • Track event budgets including invoices, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Maintain production timelines and operational checklists across multiple events
  • Ensure events are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high standard of quality

Who You Are:
Overtime seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented Manager of Events who thrives in fast-paced, live event environments. You blend operational excellence with creativity, and you're energized by building memorable experiences.
An ideal candidate skill set includes:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in event planning and/or event marketing, event production and budget management
  • Enthusiasm for working in dynamic, live event settings
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
  • Experience managing or collaborating with experiential/production agencies
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations as necessary for event set up and strike.
  • Ability to participate in the construction of event assets with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
