About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multi-faceted team does it all. We are a collection of thinkers, makers and doers, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work. Within this team, the Events & Experiences Creative function is responsible for how Salesforce shows up in physical spaces - from flagship events and trade shows to brand partnerships, activations, and executive experiences.

About the Role

Salesforce is looking for an exceptional Design Director, Events & Experiences Creative to lead design across our entire events portfolio. Reporting into the VP of Events & Experiences Creative, this is a holistic, cross-functional design leadership role - sitting above and across all creative pods to ensure every touchpoint, surface, and space tells a unified brand story.

This is a role for a true multi-hyphenate: equally fluent in physical environment design, interactive and digital storytelling, and brand identity systems. You will set the design vision for how Salesforce experiences look, feel, and resonate - connecting every element from environmental graphics and stage design to wayfinding, digital integrations, and branded moments into a single, cohesive narrative.

You're a player-coach. You will roll up your sleeves alongside the designers and art directors embedded in each pod, elevating their work through hands-on direction, clear creative frameworks, and a relentless commitment to craft. You'll also be a confident internal presenter, building alignment with senior stakeholders and bringing creative vision to life in the room.

What You'll Do
  • Set the holistic design direction for Salesforce events and experiences, ensuring visual and experiential cohesion across all pods and programs

  • Serve as the connective creative tissue across physical, interactive, and brand design - building frameworks and systems that unify the look and feel across every touchpoint at an event

  • Act as a player-coach to designers and art directors within each pod - providing hands-on creative direction, mentorship, and a consistent bar for craft and design thinking

  • Own the translation of brand identity into physical and digital experience environments, from large-scale environmental graphics and stage design to interactive activations and wayfinding

  • Lead internal creative presentations to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners, clearly articulating design rationale and vision

  • Partner closely with creative leads, producers, strategists, and marketing teams to align design decisions with event objectives and broader brand strategy

  • Develop and maintain design standards, templates, and systems that empower pods to work efficiently without sacrificing creative quality

  • Identify opportunities to push the work - bringing in new references, materials, and thinking from architecture, retail, installation art, and beyond

  • Stay deeply informed on design trends across physical, interactive, and brand disciplines - and bring those insights into the work proactively

What Experience You Have
  • BA or BFA in Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or related field

  • 10+ years of design experience with a portfolio spanning physical environments, interactive/digital design, and brand identity

  • 5+ years in a design leadership role, with demonstrated experience directing multi-disciplinary teams across a range of event and experience scales

  • Deep expertise in environmental and spatial design - including environmental graphics, stage and exhibit design, wayfinding, and large-format production

  • Strong fluency in interactive and digital design as it relates to live experiences - screens, installations, digital activations, and product storytelling moments

  • Proven ability to build and maintain design systems that work across complex, multi-format programs

  • Outstanding presentation skills with a track record of pitching and aligning senior stakeholders on creative vision

  • Experience managing and mentoring designers and art directors, with a coaching mindset that elevates the whole team

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; working knowledge of 3D/rendering tools (SketchUp, Cinema 4D, or similar)

  • B2B and/or tech experience is a strong plus

You Are Excited About This Role Because:
  • You think in systems - you see the full event canvas and know how to connect every dot into something cohesive and intentional

  • You love leading, coaching, and building up the people around you just as much as you love the craft itself

  • You get energized by complexity - multi-pod, multi-format, multi-audience programs are where you thrive

  • You believe design is the thing that makes an experience feel inevitable, not accidental

We Are Excited About You Because:
  • You bring both vision and rigor - you can set the bar and then help the team clear it

  • You move fluidly between strategy and execution, presentation and production

  • You have an eye that spans disciplines and a point of view that's hard to fake

  • You make everyone around you better
