The Director, BA Marketing Business Management & Events, is a senior marketing leader who partners with the BA CMO and business teams to translate marketing priorities into measurable business outcomes. This role leads the marketing operating model across strategy, planning, financial governance, analytics, commercialization, and Strategic BA Enterprise events to align investments with growth priorities and commercial impact.
Success requires an influential, collaborative leader who excels in complex matrixed environments and brings strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and financial discipline to strengthen governance, increase accountability, and simplify execution. This role requires the ability to balance strategy and execution, foster alignment across executive stakeholders, and build scalable processes that enable long-term growth.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Lead BA Customer Experience Centers (CXCs) and BA global event strategy, governance, and commercialization to deliver seamless customer experiences, measurable pipeline impact, and strong business value.
• Partner with business leaders to prioritize strategic event investments across regions, markets, and business units.
• Measure KPIs that link marketing investments to commercial outcomes, customer engagement, pipeline growth, and business performance.
• Partner with the CMO to define and execute the marketing operating strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives
• Establish commercial excellence frameworks that strengthen planning, prioritization, execution, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Align Sales, Finance, Offering Management, Regional Marketing, and business leadership around priorities, investment decisions, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead enterprise-wide initiatives that simplify execution and advance strategic priorities across functions.
• Oversee Regional and Global annual operating plans, budget development, operating cadences, and regional scorecards.
• Partner with the CMO and Finance to guide forecasting, investment prioritization, and effective budget governance.
• Serve as the operational leader responsible for enabling data-driven recommendations that provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
People Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team that supports long term growth
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer first, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

• 12+ years of progressive experience across marketing, commercial excellence, business operations, strategy, or sales operations.

• Strong business acumen with experience leading planning, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and executive reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, influence across matrixed organizations, and build long-term capability.
