Every Presidents' Day weekend, BBYO brings together3,500+ Jewish teen leaders, educators, professionals, and philanthropists. Delegates hear from inspiring speakers, develop leadership skills, serve the local community, celebrate Shabbat, attend exclusive music performances, and shape the Jewish future.Behind the scenes, ICrequiresmonths of planning, coordination, and operational excellence, and as an intern,you'llplay ameaningfulrole in making it happen.ย

You'rea college student interested in gaining hands-on experience in event operations,logistics, and systems management. You enjoy creating structure, staying organized, and managing processes that keep teams running efficiently.You'redetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating with others.Youdon'tmind spreadsheets, checklists, and details, in fact, you enjoy bringing order to complexity.You'reexcited by fast-paced environments and want to contribute to the success of a large-scale global event.ย 

This is a paid internship compensated at $18.40 an hour, withย 15-20ย hours/weekย from September 2026 through March 2027ย 

SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELFย ย 

WhatYou'llDo as Our Intern:ย 

  • Support travel and registration operationsbyassistingwith participant travellogistics,maintainingaccuraterecords, and helping answer questions from attendees,ย families, and staff.ย 
  • Coordinate program and event suppliesby placing orders, tracking inventory, and working with vendors to ensure materials arrive on time and areevent ready.ย 
  • Maintain and organize event databy reviewing photos,ย collectingย and reviewing waivers,ย updatingAirtablerecords, and helping keepparticipantsand programย informationaccurateacross multiple systems.ย 
  • Process payments and financial recordsby supporting registration payment tracking, reconciliation, and other administrative finance tasks.ย 
  • Partner across the IC teamto tackle operational projects, solve logistical challenges, and provide hands-on support leading up to and during the event.ย 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACTย 

REQUIREMENTSย 

  • A responsible self-starter who is comfortable balancing independent work with team collaboration.ย 
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.ย 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and eager to learn new systems (CVENT,Airtable).ย 
  • Demonstratedattention to detail and comfort working with data and administrative systems. Candidates may be asked to complete a brief skills exercise during the interview process.ย 
  • PreviousBBYO experience or similar youth/Jewish organization experience is aplus butnotrequired.ย 
  • Availability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours/week September 2026through March2027 withpreference given to thoseavailable to work in BBYO's DC office one day/weekย 
  • Available to work in-person atInternationalConvention from Tuesday, February9- Monday, February 15, 2027.ย 
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.ย
