Operating at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Brand, and Executive Leadership, you drive alignment between event strategy and enterprise growth priorities. You bring together product innovation, thought leadership, customer storytelling, and go-to-market execution into unified experiences that resonate with C-suite audiences. At Genesys, we are transforming customer experience through AI-powered innovation and human-centric design, and this role plays a central part in how that vision is experienced globally.

This position offers direct exposure to executive decision-making and platform-level growth initiatives, creating a clear pathway to expanded leadership influence across global marketing and revenue functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the global strategy for Tier 1 strategic events, driving measurable impact on pipeline generation, revenue acceleration, customer expansion, and executive engagement across enterprise segments
  • Architect and deliver flagship experiences, including global customer conferences, industry events, sales kickoff, and executive programs that influence senior buyers and accelerate complex deal cycles
  • Design differentiated, high-visibility event experiences that strengthen competitive positioning, increase engagement with priority accounts, and deepen relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Establish scalable global playbooks, governance models, and operating standards that enable consistent regional execution while improving efficiency, brand quality, and performance accountability
  • Lead the global executive engagement portfolio, ensuring programs such as Executive Perspectives deliver meaningful C-suite engagement, customer advocacy, and strategic account growth
  • Align executive program participation with account strategies by partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and regional teams to drive pipeline creation, opportunity progression, and long-term relationship development
  • Define and oversee executive-level content strategy, ensuring experiences are grounded in differentiated thought leadership, customer insight, and Genesys' corporate narrative
  • Build and scale event-driven demand generation strategies that improve pipeline quality, increase conversion rates, and accelerate deal progression across enterprise accounts
  • Implement performance frameworks that measure pipeline contribution, executive engagement quality, customer retention impact, and return on investment
  • Leverage data, analytics, and attribution models to optimize investment strategy, audience targeting, event mix, and overall business contribution
  • Influence executive stakeholders to expand thought leadership presence, customer participation, and external visibility across strategic events
  • Build strategic partnerships with media, analysts, academic institutions, and industry leaders to extend reach and reinforce market credibility
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global events organization, strengthening leadership capability and driving operational excellence across distributed teams
  • Drive adoption of AI, automation, and advanced event technologies to enhance personalization, engagement, and post-event follow-up at scale
  • Ensure strong operational discipline across budget management, vendor partnerships, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience in demand generation, strategic events, executive engagement, or integrated marketing within enterprise B2B or SaaS environments
  • 7 or more years leading global event strategy and execution for large-scale, high-impact programs
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling executive engagement programs for C-suite audiences, including advisory forums and strategic account alignment
  • Strong experience shaping executive-level narratives across brand, content, thought leadership, product marketing, or executive communications
  • Deep expertise in customer experience, contact center, CRM, AI, digital transformation, or related enterprise technology markets
  • Proven ability to lead and scale globally distributed teams, including Director and Senior Director-level leaders
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership on enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and go-to-market transformation efforts
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, event platforms, analytics tools, attribution models, and performance reporting frameworks
  • Strong operational discipline across budget management, vendor management, governance, and global execution oversight

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading globally recognized flagship customer conferences or industry-defining events
  • Experience building premium executive programs, advisory forums, or C-suite communities tied to strategic account growth and customer advocacy
  • Strong track record of integrating events into multi-channel, account-based demand generation strategies
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, executive sponsorship models, strategic account planning, and complex deal orchestration
  • Demonstrated success using data and analytics to optimize event performance, executive engagement, and ROI
