At GXO, we're constantly looking for talented individuals at all levels who can deliver the caliber of service our company requires. You know that a positive work environment creates happy employees, which boosts productivity and dedication. On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

The Senior Director, Global Events & Engagements is a newly created strategic and operational leadership role responsible for defining, scaling, and delivering a world-class global events function that drives measurable business impact. This role oversees the full lifecycle of internal and external events-including industry conferences/tradeshows, customer and executive programs (customer advisory board and sporting events), partner activations, and employee-focused experiences (Leadership Summit)-ensuring alignment with company objectives, brand positioning, and growth strategy.

As a senior leader, this role sets the vision for transforming events from execution-focused activities into an integrated, experience-led marketing and engagement capability that contributes directly to pipeline generation, relationship development, employee engagement, and business performance. This role is accountable for establishing event strategy (including messaging), managing budgets and vendor relationships, driving executive engagement, and implementing measurement frameworks that track ROI, engagement, and pipeline influence. • Commercial acceleration by designing events as relationship-building and selling environments, the role equips commercial teams with opportunities to engage buyers in meaningful, stage-specific interactions that accelerate deal velocity and increase confidence in complex sales cycles.
  • Performance optimization through clear measurement frameworks, including pipeline influence, engagement, and ROI, the role continuously evaluates event performance and optimizes the portfolio to maximize business impact and revenue contribution.
  • Responsible for the global events strategy, portfolio planning, and execution budget, including oversight of agencies, vendors, and enabling technologies required to deliver and scale world-class event experiences. Budget scope and investment levels to be defined in alignment with business priorities.
  • Define and oversee event strategy, messaging alignment, and framework across the global events portfolio, ensuring all programs consistently reflect the company's value proposition, brand positioning, and commercial priorities.
