The organization's mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. Turning Point USA believes that every young person can be enlightened to true free market values. Since its founding, Turning Point USA has embarked on a mission to build the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on high school and college campuses across the country. With a presence on over 5,000+ campuses, Turning Point USA is the largest and fastest-growing youth organization in America.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Turning Point USA is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our creative team in Phoenix. This role supports national campaigns, marketing initiatives, and large-scale events through a wide range of digital and print design work.

The Graphic Designer collaborates with internal departments to develop creative assets for social media, email marketing, advertising, and event materials. The ideal candidate is a confident self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. They should be comfortable managing projects from concept through final production and preparing files for both digital and large-format print.

This position reports to the Graphic Design Manager and works closely with the Creative Director as part of a collaborative creative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design graphics for social media, digital advertising, and email marketing campaigns;
  • Create print and large-format materials including event signage, banners, and promotional graphics;
  • Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution;
  • Collaborate with marketing, events, and other internal teams to translate ideas into effective visual solutions;
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creative deliverables;
  • Assist with creative support for national events and conferences, including occasional travel.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience;
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating both digital and print design work;
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign;
    • Experience preparing production-ready files for print and digital formats;
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills;
    • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy;
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments;
    • Self-motivated with the confidence to take initiative and move projects forward;
    • Demonstrates the physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 15 lbs;
    • A valid driver's license and ability to travel to locations as needed;
    • Must be aligned with the mission and values of Turning Point USA and have a passion for the movement.

    Portfolio Requirement:
