Mountain Lake is nestled within a sprawling 2,600-acre property featuring scenic hiking trails, breathtaking overlooks, a historic lodge, and charming cabins. Renowned for hosting weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, and special events, our lodge is a beloved destination for visitors during major local events and holidays. We are dedicated to restoring and enhancing our outdoor amenities to provide memorable experiences for all guests.

Position Purpose
The Event & Wedding Coordinator supports the planning, coordination and execution of weddings, catering functions, festivals and special events while assisting sales, revenue management, marketing and social media initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with weddings, events, festivals and catering functions.
  • Support client communication, planning timelines, site visits and event details.
  • Assist with proposals, follow-up, sales activities and revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare and update Banquet Event Orders and communicate details with departments.
  • Partner with marketing and social media to capture event content and promote Mountain Lake experiences.

Cross-Department Collaboration
Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Communications & Social Media, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, Facilities, Recreation and Conservancy teams.

Performance Metrics
Guest satisfaction, event execution, communication, BEO accuracy, revenue support, teamwork and Mountain Lake service standards.

Physical Demands
Standing and walking for extended periods; supporting indoor and outdoor resort events as needed.

Schedule: Nights, weekends and holidays required. Evening availability required for weddings, events and festivals. Typical days off may be separated and during the week.
