Part Time | Approximately 30 Hours Per Week

Atlas Cruises & Tours is seeking two experienced Travel Advisors / Group Reservations Specialists to join our growing team.
With more than 35 years in business and over 30,000 passengers served, Atlas specializes in cruises, group travel, meetings and events, resorts, and custom travel experiences.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing position that combines travel reservations and customer service with sales support and new group business development. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a high volume of client calls, servicing existing reservations, processing payments, and conducting outbound prospecting to identify new group travel opportunities.
We currently have two part-time positions available, averaging approximately 30 hours per week:
  • 1 In-Office Position – Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
  • 1 Remote Position
Candidates may indicate whether they are interested in the in-office position, remote position, or either.
Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of inbound client calls and emails
  • Assist clients with cruise, resort, vacation and group travel reservations
  • Service existing bookings, including changes, questions and special requests
  • Process client payments by phone accurately and securely using company-approved systems
  • Assist passengers participating in large group travel programs and special events
  • Maintain accurate passenger profiles, reservations, payment records and travel documentation
  • Communicate payment deadlines, documentation requirements and other important travel information
  • Follow up with clients regarding reservations, payments and outstanding items
  • Work directly with cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and destination partners
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and develop new group travel leads
  • Make outbound calls to prospective group leaders, organizations, associations and other potential clients
  • Follow up on new group inquiries and sales opportunities
  • Help develop relationships with prospective clients and support client retention and repeat business
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during and after travel
  • Work collaboratively with our reservations, group operations, sales and event teams
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of travel industry experience required
  • Cruise reservation and sales experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of major cruise lines, resorts and popular vacation destinations
  • Experience servicing existing travel reservations
  • Comfortable handling both high-volume inbound calls and outbound sales/prospecting calls
  • Confident communicating with clients and processing payments by phone
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service, sales and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple reservations, deadlines and client requests
  • Comfortable learning and working with reservation systems, CRM platforms and online booking technology
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
  • Group travel reservations and servicing
  • Cruise reservations and sales
  • Group sales or business development
  • Outbound sales or lead generation
  • Tour operations
  • Large group or event travel
  • Host agency or consortium environment
  • CRM and reservation management systems
Remote Position Requirements
Candidates applying for the remote position must have:
  • A professional, quiet and dedicated home workspace suitable for frequent client calls
  • Two computer monitors
  • Reliable high-speed internet; a hardwired Ethernet connection is strongly preferred
  • Professional-quality headset with microphone
  • Webcam for virtual meetings and training
  • Ability to work efficiently across multiple systems simultaneously, including reservation systems, CRM platforms, email, supplier websites and phone systems
  • A private work environment appropriate for handling confidential client and payment information
  • Reliable availability during assigned working hours
This is a scheduled part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week. Remote team members are expected to be available and actively working during their assigned shifts.
