About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned event professional with a passion for live entertainment
to join our growing Event Operations department.
Our Event Operations team manages the preparation and deployment of all Leap Event
Technology products on site at live events across the world. As an Event Operations
Manager you will work across multiple departments to ensure that our clients are set up
for success at the final stage of every project, and you'll be responsible for executing
the successful roll out of our technology on the ground at events. If you love to work

Responsibilities
โ€ข Manage a portfolio of events and execute on site deployments for Leap Event
Technology (approx. 25 events per year)
โ€ข Work independently and creatively to deliver exceptional client service
โ€ข Be proficient with the hardware and software applications that Leap Event
Technology uses to execute live events. Maintain an expert level proficiency in at least three Leap Event Technology (3) products.
โ€ข Understand Leap product integrations
โ€ข Create and manage budgets managed events; ensure costs are projected
accurately and escalate any budgetary risks
โ€ข Manage and oversee fulfillment operations across a portfolio of events, tasks include credential orders, timelines, quality assurance, reporting, vendor coordination,
โ€ข Provide escalation support to Client Support team for clients requiring assistance
with event operations software and hardware
โ€ข Perform remote system support and upgrade procedures
โ€ข Perform system QA and testing
โ€ข Publish and maintain system technical documentation
โ€ข Travel in support of your events and ensure that on site operations meet Leap Event Technology's high standards
โ€ข Represent Leap Event Technology with professionalism on site
โ€ข Engage with Product to participate in development and QA testing for on-site applications
โ€ข Collaborate with Account Managers, Implementation Managers, and Client Support to create operations plans
โ€ข Manage a team of contractors through full event cycle, both remotely and onsite
โ€ข Stay up to date on new event technology, and ensure Leap Event Technology is
constantly evolving our hardware to stay ahead of industry standards
โ€ข Support operations team initiatives (in-office) as requested
โ€ข Travel 70%+ of the year. Must be willing to travel weekends and some holidays.
Qualifications
โ€ข H.S. diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
โ€ข 1-3 years of experience in event production, or live event planning required
โ€ข Familiarity and comfortable reading and understanding contracts
โ€ข Strong technical and IT skills
โ€ข 2 years of experience with on site or remote client technical support
required
โ€ข 2 years of experience with IP networking and protocol support preferred
โ€ข Experience with Google Workspace, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel
preferred
โ€ข Strong operations skills, including troubleshooting, and support of on-site
hardware and networking installations
โ€ข Solid understanding of how to navigate both Android and iOS products
โ€ข Highly organized and detail oriented, able to foresee operational issues before they occur
โ€ข Strong professional communication skills, ability to confidently interact with
clients and professionals of all backgrounds
โ€ข Ability to self-start and complete tasks independently
โ€ข Must be able to lift 100lbs, work outdoors, and should expect instances of long
hours to occur regularly
โ€ข Be an expert at traveling and working from unique environments while on the go
โ€ข Possess a passion for creating live event experiences with an eye for improving
the customer experience

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!
If you don't live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.
