Summary


The AV & Event Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting Audio Visual (AV) staff and Housemen staff to ensure all events, meetings, and functions are executed efficiently and professionally. This role requires strong leadership, hospitality-focused service, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to daily operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.


 Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Supervise, support, and assist AV staff and Housemen teams during daily operations and events. 
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage for all events and operational needs. 
  • Review and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure all event requirements are properly prepared and executed. 
  • Assist with and oversee AV setups, room setups, breakdowns, and event transitions. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during events to ensure operations run smoothly and guests receive exceptional hospitality and service. 
  • Ensure guests, clients, and internal teams feel fully supported, well cared for, and satisfied throughout all events and functions. 
  • Train, coach, and guide team members to maintain high operational and service standards. 
  • Delegate tasks effectively while remaining hands-on and actively involved in daily responsibilities. 
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure all assignments are completed properly, efficiently, and on time. 
  • Maintain organization and inventory of AV equipment and Housemen supplies. 
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, guests, managers, vendors, and internal departments. 
  • Resolve operational or guest-related issues promptly, professionally, and efficiently. 
  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic at all times. 
  • Contribute positively to team culture and consistently give maximum effort to support operational success.

Requirements
