Event Planning Manager
The Event Planning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing group events contracted by the Sales team while delivering an exceptional client experience from pre-planning through event completion. Serving as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations, this role ensures every event is executed seamlessly with a strong focus on customer service, communication, and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to building strong client relationships while anticipating needs and resolving challenges with professionalism. Key responsibilities include administering sales agreements, detailing food and beverage, audiovisual, and event requirements, managing room blocks and billing instructions, conducting final event reviews, and serving as the primary on-site contact during programs. The Event Planning Manager partners closely with Sales and hotel operations to ensure flawless event execution and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards. Previous hotel or event planning experience is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and computer skills are essential.

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Culinary, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Communicate event details, timelines, and special requests to all relevant teams.
  • Conduct site tours for confirmed groups and clients.
  • Monitor events on-site and address client needs or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate event records, contracts, and documentation in Hyatt systems.
  • Review and reconcile event billing with clients and the Finance team.
  • Attend and lead event planning and group resume meetings.
  • Meet service, guest satisfaction, and revenue goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.
