Job description

Orgill is looking for a collaborative, high-energy Senior Events Planner to join our professional Event Services team. In this role, you won't work in a silo; you will be a critical part of a collective team responsible for the logistics of the Orgill Dealer Market, Innovation Center and key company events throughout the year.
This is a role for an events professional who excels in a team environment, someone who can own their specific portfolio while ensuring total alignment with team members to create a seamless, unified customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dealer Market - Customer Logistics & Onsite Services
  • Assist the Director in the planning and execution of customer-facing logistics for Orgill's annual Dealer Market.
  • Oversee specific aspects of hotel block management, attendee registration, transportation logistics, and meeting room scheduling.
  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors to ensure a consistent and high-quality attendee experience.
  • Contribute to event planning timelines, staffing schedules, and communication strategies for attendees and internal teams.
  • Support the implementation of innovative event technologies and engagement strategies to enhance attendee experience.
  • Assist in the collective development of new event formats that align with Orgill's evolving customer engagement strategy.

Innovation Center & Orgill Event Portfolio Support
  • Support the scheduling, development, and execution of various events hosted at the Orgill Innovation Center, including customer tours, product showcases, and training events.
  • Assist in the creation of new event formats and experiences aligned with Orgill's customer engagement strategy.
  • Support customer experience management across Orgill's broader event portfolio, ensuring all touchpoints reflect Orgill's values and service standards.
  • Provide planning and logistical support for internal meetings, hosted gatherings, and other special events as needed.

Team Supervision & Vendor Coordination
  • Support event operations and professionals through end-to-end logistics, including F&B, travel, registration, and comprehensive customer service.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Services, Sales, Technology, senior management and all of MarCom to ensure cohesive event execution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for cross-departmental event alignment, balancing stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure coordination and consistency across departments throughout the planning and execution process.

Budgeting & Reporting Support
  • Contribute to tracking event performance metrics and leveraging post-event analytics to improve future planning.

Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in corporate event planning or trade show logistics.
  • Proven experience with hotel room block coordination and travel logistics.
  • Experience in large-scale events and high-touch customer logistics.
  • Strong leadership potential, excellent communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite tools, Microsoft Office, project management platforms (e.g., Asana), event management platforms (e.g., Cvent-registration, diagramming, etc.)
  • CMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours during event periods.
