- Metro Detroit Venue and Forte Belanger's private events are flawlessly executed, with high quality libations and service throughout the event season.
- Attends pre shift meetings with event managers and team to review event's briefing and timing
- Ensure the bar set-up is executed in a timely manner
- Set up, and break down bar products and glassware per event
- Batch signature cocktails based on recipe when requested
- Set up and manage non-alcoholic beverage stations throughout the event
- Assist in the set up and break down of cocktail area and dining room when applicable (polishing glassware, silverware, table linens, etc.)
- Take direction from event manager and lead staff
- Creates a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests while anticipating their needs
- Identifies opportunities and ensure that guest's expectations are met
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of specialty and classic and signature cocktails (ingredients, specs, build), wine, beer, and beverage offerings
- Maintains fluency in all menu items and ingredients with the ability to suggest beverage pairings
- Follows proper steps of service with grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the dining area
- Communicates effectively with staff members, management, and the culinary team during service
- Able to assist service dining team with dinner service in fine dinner atmosphere
