Bring Unforgettable Corporate Events to Life.

Mills James is hiring an experienced Event Production Manager In Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is perfect for professionals with a background in live event production, audiovisual management, and corporate meeting planning. You'll lead the planning, technical execution, and onsite management of in-person and virtual events for top corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of corporate event production from planning to execution.
  • Collaborate with clients and staff producers to create detailed statements of work.
  • Select and schedule the right AV equipment, crews, and virtual platforms (Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Brand Live).
  • Develop production timelines with clients, venues, and vendors.
  • Oversee setup, operation, and teardown of AV systems including audio mixers, microphones, speakers, cameras, video switchers, projectors, stage lighting, and networking equipment.
  • Supervise and schedule crews for live events, conferences, and hybrid meetings.
  • Operate and support PowerPoint presentations, livestream platforms, and both Mac and Windows systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a clientfirst mindset.
  • Manage multiple fastturn projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, or related field; or 4+ years of event production or AV management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of AV technology, networking, and livestream platforms.
  • Ability to learn and use MediaPulse facilities management software.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to obtain U.S. Passport and DOT medical card (if required).
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Strong organizational, problemsolving, and client communication skills.
