Job description

Location:  Cincinnati, OH

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead trade shows and event planning and execution for the Provider Solutions business unit, a critical part of PatientPoint's customer engagement, acquisition, and retention efforts. The Trade Shows & Events Manager will collaborate with the VP of Events to determine which shows and events PatientPoint will participate in, the rationale and objectives for participating and the key metrics by which success will be measured. 

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Events and Provider Solutions Marketing and Sales teams to define the event strategy  
  • Support Sales and Marketing strategies by facilitating participation in key trade shows and events that reach PatientPoint target customers, prospects, and industry influencers 
  • Manage end-to-end trade shows and events logistics and execution, including but not limited to sponsor relations, speakers and booth staff, registration, housing, product demos and hardware, booth equipment, marketing materials, transportation arrangements, on-site services, booth staffing schedules travel and accommodation logistics, show services orders and shipping arrangements 
  • On-site management of trade shows and events to ensure that they operate smoothly and according to plan  
  • Monitor and report on trade show and event budgets at the event level 
  • Assist with marketing program execution such as collateral development, direct mail/email campaigns and digital marketing to drive leads and revenue opportunities 
  • Partner with Marketing and Corporate Communications to ensure pre-show and post-show communications are scheduled and sent in accordance with the event timeline 
  • Travel to various trade shows to manage logistics 
  • Evaluate event performance based on marketing/sales objectives and KPIs 
  • Ability to present and speak to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and PowerPoint 
  • Travel to event site locations +-30% 
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned 

 What We Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Project Management, or related field 
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in B2B trade show and events management 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis (position requires setup and moving of display materials) 

 Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and events 
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management software 
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software 
  • Experience with Cvent or similar event management software 
  • Experience with iCapture or similar lead capture software
