These roles typically involve assisting with the coordination, logistics, and execution of various events, such as conferences, weddings, or corporate meetings. Common responsibilities may include communicating with vendors, setting up event spaces, managing guest lists, and supporting the event manager or coordinator. Entry level positions are a great way to gain hands-on experience and learn the fundamentals of event planning. Over time, employees can advance to higher-level roles with more responsibilities.
