Job Description

Title                 : Release Management Coordinator
Location         : Minneapolis, MN
Duration         : 6+ months

A direct Minneapolis, MN client is looking for a Release Management Coordinator.
This position will start 3/16/2015 and is anticipated to end 9/09/2015.
Required Skills:
Ensure proper level of release readiness is in place for a smooth and stable transition to production environment
    Coordinates the cross-organization needed to implement the release, facilitates the release meetings and develops and tracks release activities based of the Go Live schedule
    Monitor implementation, working closely with Incident and Event Management owners; identify trends of concern
    Ensure problems are generated for incident and event themes where root cause is required to be performed in order to ensure stability is attained for the newly introduced changes to the production environment
    Coordinate across the various support teams to ensure key support artifacts are updated and/or created for lifecycle support
    Understand all aspects of end to end release process throughout the life of the change
    Participate in weekly Change Advisory Board meetings to represent production releases
    Make suggestions to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the release and deployment process

Impact/Outcome:

    Provide a full time resource to continue the efforts for Release management with Office 2013, IE11 and other release coordination efforts.
