Job Title: Event Setup Coordinator
City: West Lafayette
Job Description:
What You'll be Doing:
Responsible for setting up meeting and banquet rooms for special events in accordance with standard procedures under close supervision. This includes moving furniture and equipment, with some heavy lifting required. Oversees the preparation and arrangement of event spaces for scheduled functions and responds to requests for additional furnishings such as tables, chairs, lecterns, and related equipment. Works collaboratively with Events Office staff and clients to ensure setups meet customer specifications. Communicates routine issues and reports unusual problems to a supervisor. The position may require occasional overtime and outdoor work for special events. Performs other duties as assigned.
The typical work schedule for this position is Thursday through Monday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The hourly rate is $15.75, plus a shift differential.
