Summary:

Event Staff at Kiefer Aquatics will help with weekend swim meets in the state of Florida. Kiefer is a leader in the swimming industry providing swim teams and retail customers with boutique sales experience in the swimming community. It is an hourly position, and Kiefer covers all expenses, including meals, hotels, and vehicles.

Requirements:

Essential Functions/Primary Duties:

  • Help set up booth and breakdown for each swim meet
  • Work one or two weekends a month
  • Open and closing of the booth
  • Operate sales register and assist customers with purchases
  • Assist or run swimsuit sizing events and swim meets as needed (weekends and evening). 


Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior retail experience, helpful but not required
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Swimming background is ideal but not required


Skills/Attributes:

  • Timely attendance and strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail and use of daily processes
  • Open to learning new skills and processes 
  • High level of integrity with a strong sense of accountability
  • Friendly, outgoing and social personality
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions as needed
  • Basic computer skills. 
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This is a non-supervisory position.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is flexible part-time, with working days mainly on weekends.
