Join our team as a Banquet Cook and play a key role in preparing high-quality food for banquet events and special functions. In this fast-paced culinary position, you'll be responsible for executing menu items based on banquet event orders (BEOs), maintaining food quality standards, and supporting large-scale event production. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in organized, high-volume kitchen environments and enjoy working behind the scenes to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare hot and cold menu items for banquet events according to function sheets and BEO specifications
  • Review and confirm daily banquet production needs with the Chef or Sous Chef
  • Execute food preparation tasks including cutting, slicing, dicing, peeling, and portioning ingredients
  • Organize and prioritize banquet food production to ensure timely event execution
  • Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and dating to ensure freshness and reduce waste
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines for banquet service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas, including tables, shelving, and refrigeration units
  • Monitor inventory and assist in ensuring all required food items are prepared and available for events
  • Communicate with culinary leadership regarding station status and production needs
  • Assist with general kitchen duties and support other culinary areas as needed
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operational procedures
  • Complete closing duties and ensure proper kitchen reset after service

Requirements
