To thrive as an Evening Video Switcher, you need a solid understanding of video production, live switching techniques, and broadcast standards, often supported by relevant experience or a media-related degree. Familiarity with video switcher consoles (such as Ross or Blackmagic), editing software, and broadcast automation systems is typically required.
