Tukwila Ambulatory Surgery Center, WA

Schedule: Work hours are typically 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Thursday. Receptionists do not work weekends, holidays, or evening hours.

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00/hour, depending on experience

Puget Sound Pain Clinic has locations throughout Pierce and King Counties, WA. We are expanding our team and are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Tukwila Ambulatory Surgery Center location.

As a premier pain management provider in the Seattle-Tacoma area, we are committed to providing exceptional care and creating a positive experience for every patient. For more than 20 years, our team has made a difference in the lives of patients living with chronic pain.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will often be the first and last point of contact for our patients. We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, organized, and able to provide excellent customer service in a busy medical office environment.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner

  • Schedule new and existing patient appointments

  • Check patients in and out and collect co-pays

  • Verify and update patient insurance and demographic information

  • Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls; take messages and provide information

  • Contact patients regarding missed appointments and pre-operative appointments

  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and paperwork

  • Scan, file, and process medical documents

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized reception area and lobby

  • Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality

  • Assist with other administrative and front-office duties as needed
