Job description

Job Title: Associate AI & DevOps Engineer (Internal Accelerated Track)

Rate: $35/hr (W2)

Benefits: Comprehensive Paid Onboarding + Relocation Assistance + Multi-Tier Health Benefits + Dedicated Senior Mentorship

About BlackSpade:

At BlackSpade, we value engineering capability and low-level logic over a legacy corporate resume. Traditional software roles are evolving rapidly, and our firm is scaling to meet the enterprise demand for Cloud Infrastructure and Agentic AI Orchestration. If you are a high-aptitude engineer who understands systems architecture but lacks a long formal corporate history, we want to talk to you.

We don't hire resumes; we hire brains.

The Role & Career Path:

You will join BlackSpade as an Associate Engineer. To ensure alignment with our high-stakes enterprise projects, your first 3 weeks will consist of an intensive, fully paid internal onboarding and technical immersion framework focused on Enterprise DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Agentic AI workflows.

Following successful completion of our onboarding track, you will be deployed as a W2 consultant representing BlackSpade on-site with our premium enterprise partners in Finance, Fintech, and Technology sectors across the United States.

The BlackSpade Engineering Guild:

You will not be operating in a silo. As a BlackSpade engineer, you receive continuous, direct 1-on-1 technical and architectural guidance from our senior engineering staff embedded within top-tier systems across the country. We provide the infrastructural support and continuous engineering education you need to excel in enterprise environments.

What We Offer:

Full W2 Employment: Competitive hourly rate starting day one of onboarding.

Mobility Support: Comprehensive relocation assistance for domestic client deployments.

Modern Tech Stack: Immediate hands-on work with Kubernetes, advanced AWS architecture, and production Agentic AI workflows.

Enterprise Portfolio: Build an elite, enterprise-grade engineering profile quickly.

The Requirements:

Proven Technical Proficiency: Strong coding foundations in at least one major language (Python is our language of choice. If you have experience in a different object oriented language that is fine, but you will have to learn Python quickly) and a baseline understanding of how software interacts with networks and hardware.

Relocation Flexibility: Absolute willingness to relocate domestically to support major enterprise client sites across the U.S.

Evaluation Focused: Ability to pass a rigorous baseline technical assessment. This will test core competency in networking protocols, linux, programming fundamentals

Experience Level: 0–3 years. We value your logical capacity and building skills over years spent in a cubicle.

A Note on Our Process & Confidentiality (Important):

Because BlackSpade operates with a highly specialized, proprietary methodology for enterprise AI integration and rapid infrastructure deployment, we keep our specific internal workflows and client-facing strategies confidential until the interview stage.

We know the tech market is full of vague job descriptions, and skepticism is a sign of a good engineer.

We want to assure you: We are a 100% transparent, 4-year-old established US business. We do not hide behind scripts. Our process is structured in two steps:

Initial Screening: A brief introductory call with our recruiting team to confirm baseline logistics (right-to-work, relocation flexibility, and basic technical alignment).

Engineering Consultation: A deep-dive technical interview directly with our Engineering Manager.

Once you reach the Engineering Consultation phase, we will openly answer every single question you have about our business model, our corporate entity, our clients, and your exact W2 employment terms with zero hesitation. We protect our Intellectual Property publicly, but we protect our engineers with total clarity privately.
