Evening Administrative Assistant Description:
South College Indianapolis invites applications for the position of Evening Administrative Assistant. This part-time role serves as a key campus representative and operational steward during extended and non-traditional hours. The Evening Administrative Assistant supports students, employees, and visitors; assists with building and room access coordination; and serves as the primary South College ambassador during assigned coverage times.
This position is designed with flexibility in mind. The anticipated core schedule is Monday through Thursday from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Fridays from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, hours may flex based on campus operational needs. The individual in this role must be available to adjust hours earlier or later as needed, provide occasional Saturday coverage when required, and support daytime operations during periods when the daytime Administrative Assistant is out of the office (e.g., vacation, leave, or emergencies).
Schedule adjustments will be coordinated in advance whenever possible to ensure alignment with campus needs while maintaining consistency and clarity of expectations.

  • Experience: Three years' experience in an administrative/professional setting

  • Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal skills such as organization, communication, strong work ethic, the ability to make sound decisions.
