Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Evening Shift Lead to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of event operations for Multi-site Venues, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.
Your Role on the Team
  • Provide evening leadership and oversight for engineering operations during events and building operations
  • Supervise and support a team consisting of an Electrician, Plumber, and HVAC Technician to ensure safe and efficient building operations and event coverage
  • Coordinate and prioritize work assignments based on operational needs, event schedules, and system demands
  • Respond to building system issues and provide troubleshooting support for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as needed
  • Ensure engineering coverage and readiness during events, including event setups, monitoring building systems and responding to operational needs in real time
  • Communicate with event operations, security, and other departments to support successful event execution
  • Review work orders, assign tasks, and ensure completion through the maintenance management system, CMMS
  • Assist with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues and coordinate corrective action when necessary
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure work is completed in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
  • Monitor building systems including HVAC systems, plumbing infrastructure, and other facility equipment to ensure reliable performance
  • Ensure engineering work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes, policies, and procedures
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members while fostering a collaborative and professional work environment
  • Maintain clear communication with daytime leadership regarding operational updates, system issues, and work completed during the shift

Your Skills and Experience
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a small team in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to assess facility system issues and determine appropriate next steps
  • Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams during events and operational activities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining focus on safety, reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards for facility operations
  • Comfortable working during live events and responding to operational needs in real time
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and communicate shift updates to leadership
  • Evening and Weekend Availability
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems
  • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
