This is a union position represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). The starting hourly rate for this position is contractually set at $37.99.

GENERAL PURPOSE:ย
Under general direction, implements the Divisionโs maintenance plan in assigned are of responsibility, including performing a variety of buildings and grounds inspection, maintenance and repair functions; participates in planning and coordination of the maintenance plan including supervision, oversight and evaluation of contractors; provides expertise in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment installed on Sound Transit properties; provides inspection and assessment of facilities being used by the public for safe operating conditions and coordinates with Sound Transit contractors on large scope projects; responds to and is available to provide supervision and maintenance of emergency repairs 24/7; inspects systems equipment; ensures work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and performs technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
