Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, health and safety regulations, and barista equipment is typically required. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills help you motivate staff and create a welcoming environment. These qualities are crucial for ensuring efficient cafe operations, customer satisfaction, and sustained business growth.

Additionally, fostering a collaborative environment allows staff to share tips and support each other, especially during busy shifts.

What is a Matcha Cafe?

A Matcha Cafe is a specialty café that focuses on serving drinks and foods made with matcha, a finely ground green tea powder from Japan. These cafes typically offer a variety of matcha-based beverages like matcha lattes, teas, and smoothies, as well as desserts and snacks such as matcha cakes, cookies, and parfaits. The unique flavor and health benefits of matcha, which is rich in antioxidants and provides a gentle caffeine boost, have made these cafes increasingly popular around the world. Many Matcha Cafes also provide a relaxing atmosphere inspired by Japanese tea culture.
