The Role

The EV Infrastructure Services Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery and ongoing operation of EV charging infrastructure services for Hallcon clients. This role oversees day-to-day service delivery, vendor coordination, EV charger maintenance activities, client support, and operational performance of EV charging assets.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting EV charging infrastructure projects, charger maintenance programs, and vendor/OEM management. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, contractors, charger manufacturers, utilities, and internal operations teams to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient EV infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of EV infrastructure services for assigned clients to maximize reliability.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities for EV charging equipment.
  • Monitor charger performance, uptime, and reliability metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for operations teams regarding operational issues, service requests, and ongoing support needs.
  • Coordinate with charger OEMs, contractors, utilities, and service providers to resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Support site assessments and infrastructure evaluations for prospective and existing clients.
  • Assist in developing scopes of work service agreements, and project plans.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage vendor performance and support contractor selection and management processes.
  • Assist with utility coordination, permitting activities, and compliance requirements as needed.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare operational reports and performance updates for leadership and clients.
  • Travel to client sites to support implementation, maintenance, and operational assessments.
  • Stay informed on EV charging technologies, industry developments, and best practices.
  • Support the sales team with EV infrastructure knowledge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Sustainability, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting EV charging infrastructure, electrical systems, facilities operations, energy management, or related industries.
  • Experience coordinating projects, vendors, contractors, or service delivery programs.
  • Working knowledge of Level 2 and DC Fast Charging technologies. ChargePoint, ABB and other OEM experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with charger maintenance programs, warranty management, and vendor service agreements.
  • Understanding of utility coordination, permitting processes, and EV infrastructure deployment, LCFS credits and other considerations.
  • Strong organizational and project planning and coordination skills.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improved performance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
