Weโ€™re looking for a friendly and dependableย Contract Manager โ€“ Construction Operations Support to support our construction initiatives through effective contract administration, project coordination, and analytical support. This role plays a key part in driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting project profitability.
Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, this position works closely with project management teams to review contracts, assist with change orders, revise scope letters, perform drawing takeoffs, and provide estimating support.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Review and analyze construction contracts, subcontracts, and procurement agreements for accuracy, compliance, and risk exposure.
  • Assist with preparation, vetting, and negotiation of owner contracts, subcontractor agreements, and vendor commitments.
  • Work closely with PMs to develop, track, and manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and client approval.
  • Generate detailed scope letters, exhibits, and attachments for contractual clarity and risk mitigation.
  • Perform drawing takeoffs, quantity surveys, and other pre-construction documentation in support of estimators and PMs.
  • Support estimating tasks, including cost research, bid documents, proposal reviews, and pricing verifications.
  • Maintain contract logs and documentation repositories for audit readiness and transparency.
  • Assist the Vice President of Construction with reporting, departmental process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for contract interpretation questions from field and office teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in construction management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in contract administration, project coordination, estimating support, or assistant project management.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction documents, AIA contract forms, scopes of work, and change order processes.
  • Experience with takeoff software, cost estimating platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience in construction management, project controls, or executive support environment.
  • Working knowledge of construction financials, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams with professionalism and proactive problem-solving.

Ideal Candidate Background:
  • Experience in construction contract administration, project coordination, or assistant project management
  • Proven ability to review, interpret, and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and scopes of work
