The Project Estimator plays a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for medium to large-sized commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Reporting to the Senior Estimator, this position requires strong coordination with vendors and stakeholders to develop competitive proposals. The estimator leverages various tools including Excel, specialized estimating software, and project management platforms to ensure precise quantity takeoffs and thorough data collection, supporting successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed cost estimation and quantity takeoffs for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and verify scope
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals aligned with project requirements and budgets
  • Collect and analyze project data to support estimations
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
  • Utilize Excel, Accubid, Viewpoint Spectrum, and other project management platforms for reporting and analysis
