ESPN Digital Marketing Consultant (Account Executive)

(Milwaukee, WI)

Good Karma Brands is seeking an experienced and high-performing ESPN Digital Marketing Consultant to join our ESPN Digital team in Milwaukee. Through our partnership with ESPN, we provide brands and agencies access to ESPN’s industry-leading platforms and the opportunity to reach highly engaged sports audiences locally, regionally, and across the country. We are looking for a Marketing Consultant to help lead our ESPN Digital efforts in Milwaukee while working together with teammates representing other assets across Good Karma Brands.

A Digital Marketing Consultant is responsible for developing and growing long-term relationships with local and regional businesses by selling customized digital marketing solutions across ESPN’s digital ecosystem, including ESPN.com, the ESPN App, digital video, and ESPN Live Stream/OTT. GKB also represents additional premium digital and CTV inventory, including March Madness, New England Sports Network, SportsNet Pittsburgh, NBA.com and the NBA App. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development through partner retention and growth, while serving as a trusted marketing advisor to partners. 

Career responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Identify, uncover, and develop new digital advertising partnerships   
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional decision-makers   
  • Create customized, results-driven digital marketing solutions aligned with partner objectives    
  • Grow and retain an active book of business through consultative selling   
  • Develop deep knowledge of ESPN’s full digital portfolio and targeting capabilities   
  • Stay current on digital media trends, products, and best practices
  • Effectively uncover marketing challenges and position solutions at all organizational levels, including the C-suite
  • Network within the Milwaukee business community to expand market presence and develop new business opportunities   
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline reporting using CRM tools   
  • Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve new business outreach, partner research, campaign development, communication, and sales effectiveness while maintaining a high level of personalization and partner interaction
  • Other assigned tasks

Preferred knowledge, skills, and qualifications   

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in digital sales or at an advertising agency
  • Digital and digital video knowledge and experience   
  • Passion for sales and service with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales goals with local business owners, CEOs, general managers, and advertising agencies   
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills   
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Valid driver’s license required; in-market partner meetings are an essential function of this role    

   

Hours/Salary/Benefits

This is an exempt role with a competitive base salary plus commission. This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more. This position requires occasional evening and weekend work for events and games, and other partner needs.
