Cinfed is searching for a Mortgage Servicing Specialist I based in Cincinnati, OH at the Oakley Headquarters.
POSITION PURPOSE:
To assist the Mortgage Lending Department and members with the servicing of mortgages. Examines documents on collateral to ensure proper lien position, tax status, and evidence of insurance. Prepares documents to record mortgage principal, interest, and escrow account payments. Provides professional, courteous, and timely member service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
  • Assumes responsibility for providing effective clerical support for all phases of mortgage loan activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with members and mortgages professionals.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and communication with Credit union personnel and with management.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Required Experience:
  • A high school education or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of similar or related experience
  • Must be proficient in computer applications; possess good math skills; and possess a significant level of trust and diplomacy
