About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the escrow officer in managing real estate transactions, including relocation transactions, refinance, and purchase transactions, ensuring a seamless closing process. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare escrow documents, settlement statements, and closing disclosures.
  • Open, manage, and track escrow files for relocation, refinance, and purchase transactions.
  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and relocation companies to gather required information.
  • Review contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions for accuracy.
  • Coordinate closing schedules and ensure all necessary documents are signed.
  • Handle escrow funds, issue checks, and balance accounts in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all transactions meet legal and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in escrow, title, or real estate.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to multitask.
  • Software: Proficiency in escrow or title software (e.g., SoftPro, ResWare, Qualia) preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
