Job description

The Employee Relations Specialist serves as a liaison between the corporate HR department and the field staff. The role focuses on building strong relationships, supporting employee needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture. The position requires regular travel to company sites, potentially in different states, to provide in person support and oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

â—Ź Travel to assigned terminals (Currently in NY and PA) three weeks per month to engage with employees and deliver supplies such as uniforms, trackers, scanners, and company materials.

  • Travel to Corporate Office, located in Myrtle Beach, SC one week per month

â—Ź Conduct on site truck and equipment checks and reports.

â—Ź Complete site reports regarding drivers, vehicles, managers and overall site conditions

â—Ź Assist with establishing relationships with new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience

â—Ź Support the disciplinary process, employee coaching, and documentation.

â—Ź Promote and educate employees on company health benefits, 401K and increase participation in company driven programs

â—Ź Build strong relationships across employees, acting as a trusted official for

employee concerns.

â—Ź Prepare and submit 1:1 employee visits and report to HR leadership.

â—Ź Collaborate with management to foster a compliant, positive, and engaging work environment.

Qualifications:

One year knowledge of FedEx operations preferred.

Prior experience in a HR Support role is desired

Ability to travel to multiple terminals within your assigned region (states) three weeks per month is REQUIRED

Problem solving mindset with the ability to handle conflict efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits:

$30-35/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem on travel days
