ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains inventory of ERS equipment and accessories related to units
  • Establishes and keeps current a database of customers, including relevant demographic data and associates/contractors assigned to care
  • Sets up new member charts
  • Maintains a database with contact information of all associates and contractors
  • Compiles and enters information for various computer reports and prints and distributes reports as directed
  • Assists the Administrator for ERS in ensuring that all subscriber records are maintained in an orderly, complete, timely, secure and accurate manner
  • Files monthly Subscriber Compliance Report
  • Courteously and professionally answers and redirects all incoming calls
  • Effectively communicates with associates/contractors/customers to ensure visits have been completed
  • Acts as a liaison between contractors and the Administrator for ERS
  • Follows up on Incident Reports sent by monitoring service regarding the activation of the ERS unit, including hospitalizations or other serious incidents
  • Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as directed by supervisor
  • Runs local errands including trips to the post office and local businesses for the occasional purchase of supplies
  • Mails materials using various methods and services as directed
  • Performs daily upkeep of office machines including changing cartridges and stocking with paper
  • Maintains knowledge of current regulations and guidelines regarding operations of Emergency Response System Services, CCSP guidelines and SOURCE guidelines
  • Follows up with each subscriber to verify monthly pendant test has been conducted by each subscriber
  • Sends faxes on an as needed basis and distributes incoming faxes to intended recipients
  • Attends staff meetings and in-services as directed
  • May be required to order supplies.
  • May be required to perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
  • Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
  • Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of personal computers and the ability to operate Microsoft applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook
  • Thorough knowledge of office operations and bookkeeping Completes work in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments/responsibilities.
  • Maintains constructive working relationships by communicating and interacting effectively with supervisors, organizational leadership, peers and individuals inside and outside the Organization, in a positive, professional and respectful manner
  • Portrays a positive image of the organization and communicates guiding principles, mission, vision and values.
  • Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram format. The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
