Job description

PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Navy ERP Financial Module SME to join us in support of our government customer, the NAVSEA ERP Business Office, based in Indian Head, MD.
The position entails customer support, error resolution, and testing. Tasking will include supporting daily operations, end user support, system releases, data integrity, and special projects. Teleworking is available, however the analyst may be required to be onsite in Indian Head, MD a couple of times per week.
Role & Responsibilities:
Under broad supervision, conduct operations in support of the NAVSEA Navy ERP Business Office, coordinate events, provide expert business process and ERP solution consultation, respond to inquiries, troubleshoot/resolve/and or escalate technical issues, open and close service desk tickets, correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) and Business Operation Services.
Support NAVSEA financial management functions including:
• Support financial posting of Navy ERP transactions resulting from interfacing systems.
• Support invoice and payment processing for NAVSEA vendors.
• Provide General Ledger reconciliation support.
• Provide over-the-shoulder Navy ERP training as required.
• Support month and year-end closing.
• Support audit data calls.
• Provide analysis and support for Navy ERP and NAVSEA business process requirements.
• Perform regression testing related to financial transactions.
• Support maintenance of business rules and training material.
Required Qualifications:
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must have at least seven (7) years of Navy ERP financial management experience.
• Accounting experience (e.g., Understanding of General Ledger)
• SAP experience in the Financial and Controlling (FII/CO) modules
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• An additional three (3) years of directly related experience can be substituted for the degree.
