Job Title: Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)


Overview: 

The Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is responsible for overseeing enterprise delivery execution and portfolio tracking across Agile, traditional, and hybrid project management models. This role directly manages Project Managers and Scrum Masters and ensures consistent delivery practices, visibility, and reporting across multiple concurrent initiatives.


What You Will Do: 

  • Models, recognizes and rewards the behaviors that align with Premier America's Core Values.
  • Directly manage and develop Program Managers, Project Managers, Project Control Officers, and Scrum Masters.
  • Oversee execution of multiple initiatives across Agile and hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Ensure initiatives are planned, tracked, and delivered in alignment with approved objectives, timelines, and governance standards.
  • Maintain an integrated view of the delivery portfolio, including status, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and capacity.
  • Identify cross-initiative risks, issues, and trends; ensure timely escalation and resolution.
  • Partner with business owners and product owners to align expectations, delivery outcomes, and execution priorities.
  • Support portfolio planning, sequencing, and prioritization discussions with the VP, EPMO.
  • Promote consistent project and program management standards and continuous improvement across the EPMO.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.


Requirements

 What We Are Looking For: 

  • 8+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management. 
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading Project Managers and/or Scrum Masters. 
  • Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe). Lean Certification a bonus 
  • Demonstrated experience delivering initiatives across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models. 
  • Strong experience with portfolio tracking, reporting, and delivery metrics. 
  • Strong command of Atlassian products - Jira, Confluence, Product Discovery.
  • Experience in complex, cross-functional enterprise environments. 
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Management, or a related field required.
  • Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe). Lean Certification a bonus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent. 
  • Portfolio-level delivery oversight. 
  • Executive-level reporting and communication 
  • Agile, traditional, and hybrid project management expertise 
  • People leadership and coaching

Pay Grade Info:

The base pay range for this position is:  125k - 150k
