Position Summary
The EPMO/ERP/ERP Project Manager leads and manages one or more complex programs and/or projects in partnership with the supported business areas. Provides leadership and has accountability for execution of assigned programs and projects supported by multiple project team members, stakeholders, and Executive Sponsors. This position is responsible for adherence to existing business processes, methods, tools, and metrics necessary to drive consistent project delivery excellence. The EPMO/ERP Project Manager collaborates with business areas across the Enterprise to build relationships necessary to drive excellence and value delivery in execution. This role is responsible for timely and effective written and verbal communications within the supported programs and projects across stakeholder groups. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Program Management as part of the Office of the CIO. The EPMO/ERP Project Manager also has responsibility for the adherence, coordination, and sustainment of the EPMO/ERP processes and functions. Additionally, the EPMO/ERP Project Manager is responsible for program and project budget management in partnership with Executive Leadership and Financial Services continuously measuring the health of budgeted spend
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead one or more programs and/or independent projects with direct responsibilities in planning, budgeting, delivery health, and performance analysis.
  • Track progress on all assigned programs and projects (issues, risks, schedule, changes, costs, and scope); provide up-dates to supervisors, Executives and stakeholders as required. Manage project schedules and task details; utilize project management tools and reports appropriately.
  • Manage budgets and financial health in partnership with Executive Leadership and Financial Services.
  • Possesses strong Management presence along with the ability to manage and meet expectations of Senior and Executive leadership.
  • Has significant experience successfully managing programs and projects with cross-department dependencies.
  • Ability to execute the EPMO/ERP management process, deliverables and operational cadences in strict accordance with defined project management standards and best practices.
  • Act as an escalation point for business and IT project team members facilitating risk mitigation and issue resolution.
  • Support each level of Management and Executive Leadership to ensure high standards of delivery on their commitments to the business, customer, and community.
  • Support the organization in the adoption of a maturing EPMO/ERP process.
  • Assist in the development, validation, and assessment of project objectives, priority, and feasibility.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting on program and project assignments.
  • Provide consulting support and advise leadership on overall planning, prioritization, and delivery of new business value in accordance with defined objectives.
  • Work in collaboration with the business areas and other project or program managers to support delivery of initiatives with interrelated dependencies.
  • Provide EPMO/ERP project information and consulting to other business area team members to assist with their resource planning and utilization, business impact assessment, and overall planning knowledge.

Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Program/Project and Portfolio Management leadership experience managing budgets of more than $10M.
Demonstrated success at collaborating and leading by influence.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business executives, leaders, with all levels of professionals, and with project managers and teams.
Proven ability to prepare and present executive-level material.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in an appropriate discipline, such as business administration, finance, accounting, construction management, etc.
  • Change Management Professional Certification such as ACMP or Prosci
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, business planning, negotiation, problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in technology, energy, or utility industry.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Certification.
