How do you become an Epic Training certified trainer?

To become an Epic Training certified trainer, individuals typically complete Epic's official training programs and certification exams specific to their area of expertise, such as clinical or technical modules. Prior experience with Epic systems and a thorough understanding of healthcare workflows are often required before pursuing certification.

What are some common challenges faced by epic trainers in a hospital or healthcare setting?

Epic Trainers often face the challenge of addressing varying levels of technical proficiency among staff, which requires flexible teaching methods and patience. They must frequently adjust training materials to reflect software updates or hospital-specific workflows, staying up to date on both Epic functionalities and organizational changes.
