The Epic Cupid Analyst plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.


The Epic Cupid Analyst supports the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of applications related to the electronic health record. The analyst participates in the design, build, and troubleshooting related to the application. This role partners with clinical and operational teams across the organization as well as IT teams to ensure modules meet clinical needs, regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

EPIC Cupid Analyst Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with cardiology clinicians, technologists, and administrative teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective system configurations.
  • Configure and optimize Epic Cupid module to support workflows such as cardiac imaging orders, procedure documentation, results reporting, and billing.
  • Engage in integration between Cupid and external cardiovascular imaging systems, electronic health records (EHR), and other clinical applications like dictation or speech recognition.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cardiology workflows to inform system design and optimize clinical practice.
  • Leverage broad knowledge of system integration points to work collaboratively across specialties to ensure cohesive workflows between scheduling, billing, and inpatient/outpatient clinical modules.

Qualifications:

  • Epic Cupid Certification 
  • Experience/Certification in Structure reporting
  • Experience in Epic Project Implementations- build, testing, readiness, go-live support.
  • Experience in Invasive Cardiology workflows/build
  • Union Third-Party systems include: Xper, ISCV, ISECG, ZioMonitor/ iRhythm, and PaceArt
