Job description

The Remote Epic Administrator plays a critical role in managing and supporting Epic systems within a small team environment. This position requires expertise in Epic Hyperspace client support, including deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting, while also providing support for Citrix, VMware Horizon, and other VDI environments. The role demands coordination of maintenance activities and the ability to handle after-hours Epic upgrade support without on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Epic system deployment, upgrades, and maintenance activities
  • Provide client support for Epic Hyperspace in VDI environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Epic system issues efficiently
  • Support Citrix, VMware Horizon, and other VDI platforms
  • Coordinate and perform after-hours Epic upgrade and maintenance support
  • Collaborate within a small team (1-5 members) to ensure system stability

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Client System Manager Certification (required at time of submission)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience
  • Epic Hyperspace client support experience (deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting)
  • Citrix / VMware Horizon / VDI environment support experience
  • Ability to support after-hours maintenance and Epic upgrades
