Description
  • Working collaboratively with multiple technical teams (Information Assurance, Engineering, Testing, Configuration Management, Training).
  • Proposing and demonstrating technical approaches in alignment with military standards and specifications.
  • Working on multiple projects at once and managing priorities while communicating successes and challenges with the integrated technical team.
  • Adhering to prescribed configuration management for all coding.
  • Collaborate with government personnel to set up the lab equipment to including software installation/updates and system configuration.
  • Creating and maintaining relevant documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures, configurations (software and hardware), and related materials.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience engineering complex systems with integrated hardware and software solutions.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems in an enterprise or development environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
• Minimum 6 years of experience designing, integrating, testing, and supporting complex hardware/software systems.
• Minimum 4 years of experience debugging software, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing application performance, including identifying bottlenecks, memory leaks, and processing inefficiencies.
• Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
• At least 6 years of experience performing software design, coding, code compilation, software requirements management, systems integration, utilizing systems engineering tools, and system architecture design.
• 3+ years of experience using software development tools such as C/C++, Jira, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar DevSecOps toolsets.
• 2+ years of experience developing mobile applications and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000.
