Job description

Registered Nurse Med Surg

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Pay Rate: $1,900 to $2,016/week

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 3 years required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week quick-start night-shift contract opportunity in Zanesville, Ohio. This role primarily supports the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and may require floating to other Med Surg areas, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med Surg boarders.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult Med Surg patients on the Comprehensive Medical Unit

• Monitor patient conditions, read telemetry, and respond promptly to clinical changes

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans

• Float to other Med Surg units as needed based on facility needs

• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and collaborate with the care team

Requirements

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse License Required

• Minimum 3 years of current or recent Telemetry, Stepdown, or Med Surg experience required

• BLS/BCLS Certification Required

• Current EPIC proficiency required; refresher classes are not available

• Must be able to read telemetry and pass day-one telemetry competency
