Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Analyst to support and optimize Epic HB applications within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system configuration, workflow analysis, troubleshooting, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic Resolute HB modules.
Responsibilities:
  •  Analyze, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Resolute HB applications. 
  •  Work closely with hospital billing teams, revenue cycle stakeholders, and IT teams to gather business requirements. 
  •  Configure and optimize Epic HB workflows, charge capture, claims processing, and billing functionality. 
  •  Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution and support. 
  •  Perform system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities. 
  •  Create and maintain documentation for workflows, build specifications, and testing scripts. 
  •  Participate in integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support. 
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional Epic teams including Prelude, Cadence, Professional Billing (PB), and Claims. 
  •  Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, billing standards, and organizational policies. 
  •  Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer when required. 
Required Qualifications:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
  •  3+ years of experience working as an Epic Resolute HB Analyst. 
  •  Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Certification required. 
  •  Strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle workflows and billing operations. 
  •  Experience with claims processing, reimbursement, charge review, and payment posting. 
  •  Knowledge of HL7 interfaces and healthcare data standards is preferred. 
  •  Experience in troubleshooting, testing, and system optimization. 
  •  Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Additional Epic certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, or PB are a plus. 
  •  Experience supporting large healthcare organizations or multi-hospital systems. 
  •  Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools is preferred.
