Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled certified Senior Epic Patient Access & Experience Optimization Consultant to drive transformation and optimization across patient access and engagement workflows. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, improving patient experience, and ensuring seamless data flow across Epic modules. You will work closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to optimize workflows, implement best practices, and leverage data insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead optimization initiatives across Epic Prelude, Cadence, Referrals, MyChart, and Welcome
  • Analyze and improve end-to-end patient access workflows to enhance efficiency and user experience
  • Ensure seamless data flow and integration across patient access, experience, and ambulatory modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions
  • Support and participate in Epic implementation and post-go-live optimization efforts
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation, workflows, and training materials
  • Leverage healthcare data and analytics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on best practices in patient access operations

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on Epic experience with strong expertise in:
    • Prelude
    • Cadence
    • Referrals
    • MyChart
    • Welcome
  • At least one full Epic implementation experience
  • Deep understanding of workflow and data flow across patient access and ambulatory modules
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience working with healthcare data and analytics
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in workflow redesign and performance optimization initiatives
  • Familiarity with patient experience improvement strategies
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for stakeholders
