Description

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Epic OpTime Analyst to support our client's Epic environment. This individual will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic OpTime application. The analyst will work closely with perioperative clinical teams, surgeons, anesthesia staff, nursing leadership, and IT stakeholders to improve surgical workflows, scheduling processes, and operating room efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Epic OpTime, strong incident management capabilities, and the ability to quickly learn client specific workflows. This person must be proactive, able to independently manage and resolve incidents, contribute to enhancement work, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic OpTime functionality.

Support operating room scheduling, surgical workflows, and perioperative operations.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and service requests.

Take ownership of assigned and unassigned work, driving issues through to completion.

Analyze workflow requirements and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and support optimization efforts.

Participate in system upgrades, testing cycles, and implementation activities.

Contribute to enhancement projects and ongoing system improvements.

Document system build, configuration changes, workflows, and support activities.

Provide end-user support and guidance to perioperative staff and leadership.

Participate in Go-Live support activities as needed, including potential onsite support during Wave 3.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of Epic OpTime analyst experience.

Experience supporting large healthcare systems or hospital networks.

Strong understanding of perioperative and surgical services workflows.

Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and Go-Live events.

Ability to balance incident management with enhancement and project work.

Self-motivated professional with strong productivity and accountability.

Reliable internet connectivity and consistent availability during working hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $78.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
