  • Works business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend or evening hours, only as needed to support projects
JOB SUMMARY:
ย 
Credentialed trainers will support and provide the training required related to the use of the Epic system.
They will use the created curriculum, lessons, and training materials provided to them by Stillwater Medical Center to conduct training. ย Credentialed Trainers are part of the Stillwater Medical Center training team and responsible for the actual end-user training, development of training material and will have detailed knowledge of Stillwater Medical Center workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Will become EPIC Certified within 6 mos.ย 
  • BS in business, IT, or healthcare related field preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a LPN or RN in the state of Oklahoma preferred.
  • Previous experience with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) software is preferred.
  • Proficient in use of windows based business and clinical/healthcare software applications.
  • Medical background with medical terminology preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines; May work on several projects/topics at one time.
  • Project management/coordination experience desired.
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for computerization and its potential for improving departmental and interdepartmental efficiency as well as improve patient outcomes.
  • Possess effective communication skills, assertiveness, ability to interact and build trust with peers and upper management, strong organizational skills, ability to effectively analyze and problem solve using critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively listen to others.
  • Ability to positively motivate team members and end users to desired actions in meeting project goals and time frames.
  • Ability to work remotely as needed.
  • Ability to work on independent studies
  • Desire to promote collaboration in an adult learning environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
  • Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
