Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Epic HB Analyst for a large healthcare organization preparing for an Epic go-live in approximately 60 days. This consultant will join a team that is actively working through implementation, testing, and go-live readiness activities and needs an experienced resource who can immediately contribute with minimal ramp-up time.The ideal candidate is a true hands-on Epic Hospital Billing consultant with multiple Epic implementations and go-live experiences. This individual will support Hospital Billing build activities, third-party billing integrations, extract and file management, General Ledger workflows, MRT and PRCT testing, and go-live stabilization efforts. The team is looking for someone who can confidently jump into a fast-paced environment, identify gaps, provide guidance, and help drive the organization through a successful Epic deployment. This role will be heavily involved in testing, command center support, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live optimization efforts. Candidates who have successfully supported large healthcare implementations, understand end-to-end hospital billing workflows, and can serve as a trusted Epic subject matter expert will be highly successful in this opportunity.

Day-to-Day

  • Step into an active Epic implementation approximately 60 days ahead of go-live to provide immediate Hospital Billing support
  • Serve as a hands-on Epic HB resource helping fill critical gaps for the implementation team
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot third-party billing extracts, interfaces, and file transmissions
  • Collaborate with external vendors and third-party partners supporting workers' compensation, appeals, international billing, and bad debt collection workflows
  • Support General Ledger (GL) build, validation, and testing activities
  • Participate in MRT (Mock Record Testing) and PRCT (Parallel Record Testing) to ensure end-to-end door-to-bill workflow readiness
  • Analyze and resolve Hospital Billing workflow issues identified during testing and go-live preparations
  • Work directly with Epic and internal operational teams to ensure billing workflows are configured appropriately and functioning as designed
  • Support command center operations during go-live and provide issue resolution for billing-related escalations
  • Train and mentor internal team members to ensure long-term ownership of Epic HB workflows
  • Assist with post-go-live stabilization efforts and identify optimization opportunities across revenue cycle and billing operations
  • Provide guidance and best practices based on prior Epic implementation and go-live experience
