Epic Implementation Consultant
  • Contract to Hire/ FT
  • Remote with 10% travel

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for successfully supporting Hospital's during implementation by helping define application configurations, workflow, and integration with existing host systems. The Implementation Consultant will work closely with the Project Manager to manage project milestones and drive product delivery. Responsibilities include performing current-state assessments and assisting clients to implement best practice solutions and workflow during all aspects of the Client's product implementations as assigned. The individual will be part of multiple disciplinary teams in the delivery of customer contractual obligations and is responsible for the successful and timely completion of projects resulting in customer sign-off and project acceptance. This role supports high-volume, fast-paced implementation activities.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess current-state business processes and suggest best-practice solutions using Client' s technology.
  • Partner with clients to design, document, and deploy application configurations and specifications.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Serve as a liaison with custom development teams to create integration solutions or reports.
  • Ensure proper deployment of solutions through testing.
  • Problem-solve and perform analysis of errors based on end-user or quality testing.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in application, implementation configuration, and deployment.
  • Provide a consistently positive experience for all client resources, focusing on client-centric best practices and relationship management.
  • Coordinate activities amongst Customer Delivery resources to ensure successful product and service implementations, promoting an overall positive client experience.
  • Manage multiple customers through the successful implementation of Client's Patient Access and Revenue Cycle Technology solutions.
  • Ensure the successful completion of quality product and solution implementations utilizing strong leadership, project, and resource management skills.
  • Set and manage customer expectations.
  • Understand product data requirements and their relation to product features and functionality
  • Remain current on release updates and product knowledge for assigned products.
  • Provide coordination and clear communication via phone, email, and SFDC on the case or other client implementation and support activities to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain implementation documentation repository.
  • Maintain a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction throughout the entire duration of the customer relationship.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Hospital or ambulatory Patient Access and Revenue Cycle knowledge or experience
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience with an EMR (ex. Epic, Meditech, Cerner)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently without supervision
  • Knowledge of all MS Office Products
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with several teams
  • Travel Required: up to 10%
